The project, which was put in a tender on 19 December 2018, covers the construction work of the 28.5 km section of the Oltu- Olur Highway connecting the Artvin-Erzurum Highway.

Within the scope of the project, there are 17 tunnels with a length of 24 kilometers, 6 bridges with a length of 494 meters, 26 box culverts, 198 thousand tons of mechanical and 126 thousand tons of bituminous hot mix.

184 thousand cubic meters of open excavation and portal excavation, 350 thousand cubic meters of tunnel excavation, 29 thousand cubic meters of shotcrete, 6 bridges, 26 box culverts, 285 thousand meters of rock bolts, barbican and driving wheels, 198 thousand tons of mechanical and 126 thousand tons of hot mix with bitumen have been completed.

The project was completed in 2021 and opened to traffic.
