Gaziantep-Şanlıurfa Motorway Birecik-Suruç Section Construction

The Gaziantep-Şanlıurfa Motorway starts from the Eastern Junction of Gaziantep, which is the ending point of the TAG Motorway, and ends in Şanlıurfa. The Birecik-Suruç Section is the 41.1 km portion, with 2x3 lanes, of the Gaziantep-Şanlıurfa Motorway. Construction works of a 90 m-long motorway bridge, a bridged junction, 12 over crossing bridges, 24 underground crossings, 55 culverts, 112 box culverts, a motorway service facility, a parking area and a toll collection station are included within the scope of the project.

This project, which is being undertaken by the Limak-Kolin Joint Venture, incorporates 13.000.000 m3 of excavations, 215,000 m3 of concrete works, 2.502.000 tons of foundation and substratum works, and 850.000 tons of bituminous hot mixture works.
