Şırnak Pervari - Narlı Junction

The tender for the project was held on July 25, 2013, and the contract was signed on September 13, 2013. Fieldwork commenced on September 25, 2013. The existing Şırnak–Van road is 351 km in length. Upon completion of the project, the route will be shortened by 167 km, reducing the total length to 184 km. The total length of the new road to be constructed under the contract is 45 km, comprising 15 km of tunnels (12 tunnels in total) and 30 km of open road sections.

The following works have been successfully completed as part of the project:

• T1 Tunnel, the longest of the 12 tunnels, with a length of 2,833 meters
• 13.6 km of open road
• Construction of 5 military outposts (kalekol) and their access roads
• Revision of the existing 32 km-long Çemikari road

The project is scheduled for completion in 2025.
