NEOM Cube Mountain Top Excavation Works and Geotechnical Studies, Saudi Arabia

The project, referred to as Phase I of the NEOM Magna Region Aquellum Project, involves excavation works related to a structure located near the Gulf of Aqaba.

The scope includes a 225-meter-long mobility tunnel, a 630-meter-long T1 tunnel with a 20% gradient, the installation of a 275-meter-long rock barrier, a 126-meterlong vertical shaft excavation, geotechnical investigations, horizontal exploration drilling in the tunnels, and 194,000 cubic meters of open excavation work. Excluding the mobility tunnel infrastructure, the tunnel excavation and support works, vertical shaft excavation, and geotechnical investigations have been completed. To date, 46,000 cubic meters of the 194,000 cubic meters of excavation have been completed.
