Situated on the Euphrates River, the Tatar Dam and Hydroelectric Power Plant (HEPP) has been in operation since 2013. With an earth-fill dam, the plant possesses an installed capacity of 131 MW with an annual average power generation capacity of 421 million kWh. Operating on the border between the Elazığ and Tunceli provinces, the Tatar Dam and HEPP continues its commitment towards environmental sustainability following its attainment of the Carbon Emission Reduction and Social Carbon Validation certificates.
The power generation in 2022 is 266,585,907 kWh.
