Situated on the Sakarya river, Gürsöğüt Dam and Hydroelectric Power Plant (HEPP) started production at full capacity in 2021, after commissioning its first unit in 2020.The plant has an installed capacity of 58 MW and average annual production capacity of 300 million kWh. Among Limak Energy’s hydroelectric power plants, Gürsöğüt Dam and HEPP is the first to be manufactured using domestically produced turbine equipment. As Limak Energy continues to expand its hydroelectric energy plant initiatives, it will continue to support the domestic economy of Turkey by sourcing locally manufactured products.
The power generation in 2022 is 124,731,639 kWh.
