Located in the Çumra district of the Konya province, the Konya APA Solar Power Plant is the third largest licensed solar power plant in Turkey. In operation since 2019, the plant has been integral in promoting the use of thin-film solar models, the most suitable PV module technology for contributing Turkey’s climate conditions. In 2022, the plant achieved an energy production of 25,79 million kWh, paving the way for Turkey’s green future. Alongside the Isparta Gönen Solar Power Plant, the Konya APA Solar Power Plant has provided extensive support to Turkey’s Energy Academy Limak Energy Entrepreneurship Acceleration Programme.
