LimakPort İskenderun International Port

LimakPort İskenderun is one of the largest container ports in the Eastern Mediterranean region – with a capacity of over 1 million TEU.

LimakPort İskenderun, the operating right of which was taken over for 36 years in December 2011 and started container operations in March 2013, spent the year of 2021 efficiently in which both container and non-container cargo volumes increased significantly.

The development of the international port represented an investment of $741.6 million.

LimakPort İskenderun actively connects to many ports around the world, directly and indirectly, via Maersk Line, Sealand, Arkas Line, CMA CGM, Hapag Lloyd, Cosco Shipping, Evergreen, Yang Ming, Hamburg Süd, Turkon, Medkon, The ONE, Messina, OOCL, Lynn, DSC, Milaha lines with main ships and feeder ships.

Operating on an area of 1 million square meters, the port has the feature of being a deep water port with linear and long dock structures, a breakwater providing full protection for adverse weather conditions and a water depth of 15.50 meters. LimakPort, which provides service with modern container handling equipment STS and RTG cranes specially designed for the port, has been designed as container-oriented, and with the comprehensive and versatile investment made; it has become the most important port of the region in the operations of Ro-ro, Ro-pax is, project cargo, bulk cargo and general cargo loads.
