As Limak Group of Companies, we published a press release on the sales process of Uludağ Electricity Distribution and Retail companies to Actis, an international infrastructure company, on October 01, 2021. However, yesterday in Sözcü Newspaper, in the column of Ms. Çiğdem Toker titled "The Good Party Asked About the Sale of Limak", it was stated that the executives of the Good Party made an annotation about the sales process, implying that the sale was made to a company abroad belonging to Limak and that wealth was transferred abroad. This implication certainly does not reflect reality. The short statement we sent yesterday to Ms. Çiğdem Toker and the executives of the Good Party is as follows; The company, which was established in London for the acquisition of “Uluğ Enerji Dağıtım ve Perakende Satış Hizmetleri A.Ş.”, has nothing to do with the Limak Group companies. This company is an affiliate established by the Actis Fund, an international infrastructure company whose acquisition process continues.
