LimakPort İskenderun completed its corporate carbon footprint calculations within the scope of the ISO 14064-1 Corporate Carbon Footprint standard and was subsequently certified by DAkkS (Deutsche Akkreditierungsstelle GmbH), Germany’s official accreditation body, to ISO 17029 Conformity assessment - General principles and requirements standard for verification and verification bodies. As a result of the audit carried out with internationally accepted standards and methods, it became the first port in Turkey to make a "Greenhouse Gas Verification Declaration" by verifying its relevant calculations for 2021 and 2022.
