Highway N-65 is 306 km long and a major highway linking Sukkur, one of the trade hubs in the State of Sindh to Quetta, Capital of the State of Baluchistan. The official commencement date of this project funded by a loan from the Asian Development Bank was November 2, 2010.

The standard of which has earlier been upgraded, It has been planned as a carriageway with two additional lanes next to the currently operating road.
