Limak has entered the tourism sector in 1995 with Limak Arcadia. Limak continues its investments based on the principle of being a pioneer and leader in every sector it operates; Limak Limra was opened in Antalya Kemer in 1998 and Limak Atlantis Hotel has been put into service in Antalya Belek in 2002.

In 2000, the brand of Limak International Hotels & Resort was created and with the slogan of “Warm Hospitality & Excellent Service”, the perception and concept of Warm Turkish Hospitality and Excellent Service was registered as a brand commitment. In 2006 with Limak Ambassadore, the group started to operate in the city hotel business line, and in the same year Limak Lara was introduced to the tourism industry of the country in Lara, Antalya. Limak Yalova Thermal which is the first thermal boutique hotel in Turkey came into service in 2010.    Limak Eurasia Hotel was put into operation in İstanbul Kavacık in 2011.

Service is provided year-round in the touristic facilities and the occupancy rates that exceed 80 percent are maintained consistently. Limak Tourism Group hosts guests from nearly 40 countries of the world every year as well as its domestic guests.

Limak Tourism Group increased the number of hotels to 8 with the new hotel namely Cyprus Deluxe Hotel, which started operating in 2018 in Cyprus, and reached a bed capacity over 6000. Limak Cyprus Deluxe is also the first international investment of the group. Limak Tourism Group continues its investments with a city hotel project in Skopje, North Macedonia where it will start hosting its guests in June 2020.

Proceeding with the aim of becoming an international chain, Limak Tourism Group carries out endeavors for hotel investments in various geographies. Unlike other hotel chains, the group performs the establishment, construction and management of its hotels “from a to z” within the body and achieves high savings in investment and cost areas through the experience gained in the field of construction.

The system in the supply chain creates the opportunity to benefit from economies of scale effectively. By training the staff of the new hotels, the group ensures the standards in the quality of service and constantly improves its human resources.

The group differentiates itself with sports tourism which is one of the most important segments of alternative tourism and group of guests are hosted in many different sports competitions as well as football. Every year, many domestic or foreign football teams come to Antalya for camping. Previous year, 174 football teams stayed at Limak hotels. In addition, many sports tournaments such as basketball, volleyball, judo, tennis, rugby, softball, baseball and others, as well as national team selections and national team trainings were organized and hosted by our hotels.

Limak Tourism Group continues its activities with a sense of social responsibility and has been organizing tree planting activities since 2011 on behalf of Limra, Arcadia, Atlantis and Lara Deluxe hotels located in Antalya. Limak, which has planted trees for its guests coming to its hotels every year on the 100 decares land in Serik district of Antalya allocated by the Ministry of Forestry and Water Affairs, added 10 more black cedar and nut pine to the memorial forest in 2019. Apart from Antalya, 500 trees promised to the guests at the opening of the Limak Eurasia Luxury Hotel in Kavacık, İstanbul were planted with a ceremony. In the Memorial Forest Project, it is aimed to plant 100 thousand trees in 10 years.

In 2019 Limak Tourism Group continued its tradition of giving plant seeds as a gift to its guests staying in its hotels, to be planted in their homes, balconies and gardens. There are 14 varieties in the seed sets: sunflower, fennel, marshmallow, cosmos, redbud, echinacea, coriander, sage, anise, thyme, lemon balm, eucalyptus, basil and larch.

Limak Tourism Group carries out the “Bedside Books” project to introduce famous people lived in Anatolian lands, especially to their guests from abroad. Within the scope of the project, Mevlana, Karagöz-Hacivat and Dede Korkut stories are available as booklets in the rooms. In addition, booklets including the messages from The Great Speech of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk are given as a gift to the guests.

Crowning its achievements with awards received in 2019, as every year, Limak Tourism Group aims to benefit from 2020 in which it will continue its sustainable growth and get closer to its goal of becoming an international hotel chain.
