İncir Dam and Hydroelectric Power Plant

Within the borders of Siirt Province, the İncir Dam and Hydroelectric Power Plant (HPP) is being constructed on the Büyükçay River, the largest tributary of the Botan River. The project is located upstream of the Çetin Dam and HPP, Alkumru Dam and HPP, and the Kirazlık Regulator and HPP, all of which are currently in operation. The İncir Dam and HPP is planned to be commissioned in March 2027.

The dam body of the İncir Dam and HPP is designed as an RCC (Roller Compacted Concrete) type structure, with a height of 150 meters and a fill volume of 1.9 million cubic meters.

The power plant will have a total installed capacity of 120.00 MWe and an average annual generation capacity of 315.07 million kWh, according to its generation license. With this production capacity, the İncir Dam and HPP is expected to play a key role in meeting the electricity demand of Siirt and the surrounding provinces.
