Kirazlık Regulator and Hydroelectric Power Plant

The Energy Regulator of the Tigris River

Situated on the Tigris River, the Kirazlık Regulator and Hydroelectric Power Plant (HEPP) began operations in 2013. Located downstream of the Alkumru Dam and HEPP, the plant is responsible for the regulation of outflow from the Alkumru Dam and HEPP. Through a run-of-the-river design, Kirazlık Regulator and HEPP also produces hydroelectric power, with an installed capacity of 48 MW. With an annual average power generation capacity of 150 million kWh, the plant continues to make up an integral part of the Limak Energy group.

The power generation in 2022 is 125,115,110 kWh.
